Negotiations with the employer

A trade union organization can act before the employer as an employee representative and conduct discussions on their behalf regarding, among other things:

  • working conditions,
  • wages,
  • benefits,
  • work organization,
  • changes concerning employment,
  • the situation of a larger group of employees

The goal of negotiations is to find a solution that resolves the problem without needing to take more decisive actions.

A union organization can also negotiate employee agreements with the employer.

Through negotiations, employees can jointly secure solutions that an individual employee might not always be able to negotiate alone.
