An employee doesn’t always have to stand up against the employer alone. In many situations, they can use the help of a trade union, works council or relevant authorities or institutions.
Trade unions represent interests people performing paid work, both collectively and individually.
Depending on the problem, help can also be sought from the National Labour Inspectorate, Labour Court, labour offices, and free legal advice. In certain circumstances, assistance is also available from Commissioner for Human Rights (Rzecznik Praw Obywatelskich), President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ZUS, National Health Fund or law enforcement authorities.
