One of the fundamental responsibilities of every employer is the timely and accurate payment of wages. Employers are obligated to pay wages at least once a month, on a fixed, pre-determined date. An employee who has not received payment for their work has several options to assert their rights. These include notifying the State Labour Inspectorate, issuing a demand for payment of the overdue wages, or filing a claim for payment with the labor court.
